Measuring static and dynamic forces
PCB Piezotronics, Inc. supplies force sensors for very precise measuring tasks.
The different sensors are used for measuring both static and dynamic forces, for example in the field of automotive development, the aerospace industry and industrial process control.
Quartz sensors based on piezoelectrics are used to measure dynamic and quasi-static forces. They are available either with a charge output or with an integrated ICP®/IEPE amplifier.
DMS load cells, on the other hand, are suitable for a variety of static force measurements such as
weighing, dynamometer tests or use in testing machines. In addition to the standard sensors, models with a double measuring bridge are also available, which can be used for long-term tests.
All sensors are developed and manufactured in accordance with ISO and are supplied with an individual calibration certificate traceable to NIST. In addition, PCB Piezotronics also offers suitable signal conditioning modules, optionally with
a connection option to monitoring and automation systems.
