mR MOBILE ROBOTS SECURES OPERATIONAL WORKFLOWS THROUGH AUTONOMOUS INTRALOGISTICS SOLUTIONS
AUTONOMOUS PRODUCTIVITY THROUGH MANUFACTURER-INDEPENDENT SYSTEM CUSTOMIZATION
With its corporate brand mR MOBILE ROBOTS, DAHL Automation GmbH specializes in the cross-sector integration of turnkey automation systems for production logistics. By automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and mobile Cobot Palletizers, the integrator covers the essential automation needs for internal transport processes, primarily in manufacturing companies of various sizes, and efficiently connects production cells with the warehouse to create a universal material flow solution. Since 2009, the company has been one of the pioneers in the field of integrating collaborative robotics in Germany and works together with renowned system partners regarding the installation of customized transport concepts and the further development of Cobot technologies for smooth cooperation between humans and robots. In this way, customized solutions in industry, crafts, research and the healthcare sector are possible with modules tailored to the respective sector.
As one of the largest integrators for autonomous intralogistics, the service provider itself remains manufacturer-independent. This makes sense: while there is already a large selection of driverless transport robots on the market, users who are now starting to automate their processes and are therefore still gaining experience can quickly lose track of what they are planning; after all, dozens of manufacturers are promoting their solutions as the most suitable variant and perfect Industry 4.0 component. As a brand-independent production logistics provider, mR MOBILE ROBOTS has access to well-known platforms such as MiR or Robotize for small parts and SLC transport with payloads from 20 to 260 kg through a variety of partnerships in this area.
Autonomous pallet transporters with payloads currently ranging from 425 kg to 1.3 tons, e.g. from Robotize, Nipper, Wewo or MiR, are selected by the integrator to suit a wide range of applications and can be used for transport at floor level as well as for storing goods on shelves up to a height of 2.5 metres, or even more in individual cases. Single units may be expanded into an autonomous fleet at any time, new applications can be integrated conceptually, and the system may be used for a wide range.
FLEXIBLE COBOT PALLETIZING
As independent development, mR MOBILE ROBOTS can integrate a flexible palletizing application with Cobots into its customers’ intralogistics processes designed for efficiency and safety. With two pallet bays, ‘MobilePalletizing’ is a complete solution that is easy to put into operation, ready to use in no time at all and allows the user to automate unpleasant, burdensome and time-consuming tasks without fencing them off and without having to make any significant adjustments to their production layout.
In different versions with collaborative robots from the premium manufacturer Universal Robots – currently max. payloads of 30 kg are handled – the compact kit requires comparatively little space. This means that the palletizer can be used flexibly in the production hall wherever it is needed. The openly designed mobile cell can be optionally expanded with any peripherals and accessories – for example, with a freely configurable end-of-arm tool. An intralogistical connection of the pallet bays by product-feeding conveyor belts or to a driverless transport system is of course planned and easy to realize.
INCREASE OPERATIONAL SAFETY, SUPPORT STAFF, MAINTAIN COMPETITIVENESS AT THE LOCATION
With the automation of internal goods, material and operating funds transports, medium-sized manufacturing companies in particular, but also larger companies, can create new standards for resource-saving, contactless and secure transport processes. This increases their process efficiency and creates new opportunities for exploiting previously untapped economic potential. Since automation requirements are as diverse as the users are innovative and unique, the large intralogistics portfolio of mR MOBILE ROBOTS is carefully aligned to individual customer requirements to ensure the workflow. Therefore, the integration of the most suitable system is always guaranteed.
With each integration, mR MOBILE ROBOTS consistently pursues the goal of effectively supporting the precious labour of employees in productive processes through the sensible use of robotics and of technologically equipping those companies whose industrial production is subject to increasingly fierce competition from other global locations. As a business unit of the United Robotics Group, the mR MOBILE ROBOTS team successfully contributes to adapting industrial environments to new requirements, making them more attractive, safer and healthier for the people who work there, and more efficient, sustainable and thus sustainable for the market.
