A component is manufactured, cleaned extensively, and then processed again in one place. The second processing process again creates contamination – but only partially. This raises the question: How can this newly contaminated area be reliably cleaned and dried without having to clean the entire component again? And what happens if the parts are similar but not the same? Silberhorn has found a solution for this: A kind of hood is used for the contaminated area. Thomas Burger, Product Manager at Silberhorn, will explain how this “hood” works and how cleaning and drying takes place underneath.
