Whether oils/greases, highly adhesive soiling such as resins, adhesives or paints, chemical substances, cardboard, water, dry air, disinfectants or even wearing gloves – all of these things can lead to skin irritation and even serious skin diseases if the right protective measures are not taken.
Skin diseases are among the most common and persistent occupational diseases in Germany. They cause enormous damage every year – both personally in terms of health and financially; for employees and employers.
A HERWE skin protection plan protects! It protects the skin from the consequences of occupational stress. In any case, this includes reducing skin cleansing (and avoiding the use of brushes, pumice stones or solvents).
Skin protection is an important component of PPE (personal protective equipment) and is mandatory in accordance with the Workplace Ordinance, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and TRGS.
A skin protection concept should be developed individually, adapted to the respective conditions at the workplace.
