Award for “ERP System of the Year 2023”

An independent jury of experts led by the director of the Center for Enterprise Research (CER) at the University of Potsdam and holder of the chair for business informatics, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norbert Gronau honored the ERP systems of the year in various industry-related categories on September 6, 2023. From a total of 35 applicants, the ERP solution TimeLine was named “ERP System of the Year 2023 in the Manufacturing category” and the “Special Customer Satisfaction Prize” was also awarded to the group of companies with headquarters in Solingen.
The eleven-member jury from science, media and consulting evaluated the participants’ presentations in a multi-stage selection process according to competition criteria such as suitability for the industry, technology, ergonomics, the ability of the software to be integrated, and research and development.
In the highly competitive manufacturing category, which is considered the supreme discipline, TimeLine was able to prevail against strong competition and achieve one of the highest average points ever achieved in the competition. For the jury, the deciding factors for TimeLine were, among other things, the combination of standard functionalities with high-performance adaptability through the TimeLine Developer development environment, which is fully integrated into the ERP system, which means that individualized and complex business processes can be mapped quickly and efficiently and maintained even during version updates .
