Wallbach, August 2024 – Major step towards CO2-neutral production

At the site of Forbo Siegling Switzerland AG in Wallbach, Switzerland, a new photovoltaic system has commenced operation. The system has a capacity of 174 kWp and covers an area of 780 square meters. It is installed on the roof of the production hall of Siegling Extremultus. With the new PV system, Forbo Movement Systems is taking a significant step towards CO2-neutral production of Siegling Extremultus flat belts. With 391 solar modules, the system will achieve an annual CO2 savings of 26.64 tons. This photovoltaic system is a clear sign of Forbo Movement Systems’ commitment to greater sustainability. It helps reduce the company’s carbon footprint and makes the production of Siegling Extremultus more climate-neutral.
