Forceteq®: In-Process Force Measurement with Linear Motor
With the new Forceteq® force measurement technology feature from Jenny Science AG, force can be monitored during the production process.
A force measurement with Forceteq® can be done with the servo controller from Jenny Science without an external force sensor (Forceteq® basic) or, when a precise measurement is required, with an external DMS load sensor and the Signateq® measuring amplifier from Jenny Science (Forceteq® pro). Force-motion diagrams can be captured for traceability.
Applications
General
• Direct and accurate distance measurement (depths, overhang, etc.), thanks to the linear motor
• Short cycle times due to fast pre-positioning and fast return
• Force/displacement recording over the entire stroke with the fully integrated system in the controller, XENAX XVI
Quality assurance directly during the process
• Insert, merge, assemble parts
• Polishing fiberglass
• Inserting lenses for eg cameras into the housing with pull-back locking test
• Soldering with force when melting the solder
• Bonding with defined pressure and position control
Testing with product data acquisition
• Buttons
• Keyboards
• Switches
• spring contacts (eg relays)
Position measurement and control
• Measurement by probing with a defined force
Sensitive, force-limited parts handling
• Placing optical lenses (plastic or glass)
